LOUIS CARTIER Chiffres Romaines Black Lacquer and Platinum Limited Edition 1847. Limited Edition: # 0049 /1847. Black lacquer encased with platinum, stylized roman numerals, onyx cabochon. The fountain pen is cartridge or converter fill and poses a rhodium-finished 18k gold nib on one end, and a polished black cabochon set into the other. Medium (M) 18-carat solid gold nib with rhodium finish.

Very attractive and low limitation number: #0049/1847. The concerned pen has been previously inked. It comes in excellent used condition. Cartier is best known for its jewelry and watch-making.
